Varun Sheokhand (RTI Activists), Baba Ramkewal (Bhrasthar Virodhi Manch) and Brahma Kumaris Faridabad along with their team organized a conference on Sunday 24th April 2022 in Faridabad on making healthy and corruption free society along with various social activists of the society. This conference was organized in Brhamkumari Ashram on Neelam – Bata Road in Faridabad. Shri. Sheer Madhur (Former Director General of Police, Haryana) was the chief guest of the conference.
The main aim of this conference were: To felicitate Covid Warriors and Social Activists and to discuss how to make healthy and corruption free society. Sh, Rajesh Chechi (ACP) and Sh. O.P Sharma (Senior Lawyer) were the special guests of the event.
All the special gusts and guests of honor’s discussed regarding how to make our society corruption free on the open forum. Various covid warriors and social activists were felicitated on this occasion to name some are: Mr. Denson Joseph, Mr. Himanshu Sethi, Mr. Anish Pal, Mr. Parvesh Malik amongst others.
We are familiar with some of the names mentioned above like Mr. Himanshu Sethi, recently he has announced that soon he will be distributing food free of costs every weekend for the general public. He also focussed on some major issues which are the part of Faridabad and Haryana over a long period of time like: conditions of roads and Highways. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – which is not seen anywhere in Faridabad. Garbage can be seen on roadside, near public buildings, hospitals and even schools. His aim is to make the conditions of the market in NIT 5 a better place for fruit and vegetable sellers who are not treated well by current government and counsellors.
Not only this, he is very active in working for the betterment of the society while helping and keeping the society neat and clean by participating in the Swacch Bharat drive through Anti-Polythyne Campaign and Plantation drive, He socially believes in equality of the gender and working for the Women Empowerment parallelly, he is constantly and constructively engaged to make Faridabad a smarter city to live in. He has a vision to help children more educated irrespective of their caste, gender, economic barriers as well. He wants equality in education system for which he wants reservation to be given on the basis of their economic conditions rather than on the caste basis. He is National Vice President of Human Rights and Social Justice Committee.
He did fantabulous job during COVID – 19 where he himself along with his family and friends cooked and distributed food for the needy people for around 45 consecutive days along with 100+ Ration packets which were distributed during the course. He was also serving as a Control-Room-In-Charge in Singh Sabha Gurudwara Sector 15 Faridabad along with Faridabad Administration, Gurudwara Administration.
He was also active in an NGO named Faridabad Action Group led by Advocate Denson Joseph and currently taken care by Sh. P.B Lall.
Along with the social activities he is also known for his love for sports, he was ex-vice president of Faridabad District Boxing Association, Faridabad. His love for cricket is indispensable and irreplaceable he was the owner of Noida Crease Hunters and President of T10 Grassroots Cricket Association, Uttar Pradesh. T10 GCA Uttar Pradesh was well supported by various Bollywood Celebrities like: Mr. Vikrant Anand (Actor), Mr. Amit Mutreja (Singer), Mr. Sohit Soni (Comedian), Mr. Sachin Keshav Chaudhary (Actor), and Actress like: Ms. Jyoti Pancholi, Ms. Khushi Anand, Ms. Anjali Bansal, Ms. Saru Sharma, Ms. Richa Jain and Ms. Chandani Patel.
